Over time, some people feel the need to tell their children all their past mistakes or regrets. Sometimes this brings them closer, but sometimes it can also destabilize them.
Children, even adults, often see their parents as solid role models. It’s not necessary to share every regret or mistake. Your experiences have already helped build your life and family, and that’s often enough.

Protecting your projects and dreams

Contrary to what some people think, life doesn’t end at 60. Many people start new projects, travel, learn, change their lives, or discover new passions.
The problem is that when you talk about these projects, some relatives may hold back out of concern: “You’re too old for this,” “It’s too risky,” “You should rest instead.”
Sometimes it’s better to proceed discreetly and show the results rather than ask for permission.
